5 Ways to start your New Year off POSITIVELY

The New Year is coming!

Here are 5 ways to start your New Year off Positively:

1. Make a Goal Book – Setting Goals are a great way to figure out what things you desire for yourself! If you want to get Healthy, Lose Weight, Travel, Make a Million Dollars, Spend more time with your Family these are all examples of possible goals. You can work towards your goals if you are clear about what they are. Cut some pictures out of magazines of things you want to achieve and work towards and glue them on some paper and put them together in a folder/binder. Then either write out a Goal Checklist or in essay form write out all the things you desire.

2. Meditation – Take time to meditate each morning, evening, or afternoon find 15 minutes (minimum) to just get quiet. Allow yourself to sit still and breathe.

3. Drink Water first thing when you wake up! Water is the Elixir of Life. It will clear out all the toxins in your body, refresh & rehydrate you, aid in weight loss, & keep you looking young.

4. Surround yourself with Positive People who uplift, encourage, & inspire you to be the Best You.

5. Smile. Smiling is so important. We’ve become so disconnected as a society while being so connected to our gadgets. When you pass someone on the street, at the office, driving in your car. Smile at them and make eye contact. You’ll be surprised how good it can make you feel to just share a little Smile with another human being and connect with someone for a brief moment, it becomes contagious as well. Not everyone will always smile back – and that is OKAY too BUT you will have put some positive energy out there into the world & THAT’S WHAT COUNTS!
